The area that is found between the Uffizi and the Loggia dei Lanzi has musicians who play Italian songs while the Piazza della Republica has some of the best Balkan music you have ever heard.
Live music also provides some entertainment on various nights in this city. Some of the venues that you can go to listen to great musicians include the Jazz Club, Stazione Leopolda, and the Be Bop. To get some good food and some live music as well you can go to the La Rotonda which is found in the Santa Novella Maria vicinity. If you are a cocktail fan, the Duomo which is located along the river is a great place for this. It will give you a chance to dress up and relax as you enjoy your cocktails.
Several recitals and concerts are also held in Florence in the private spaces and major halls. These events are held by the Amici della Musica and are sometimes held at the Teatro Metastasio.
If you visit this city in autumn, you can enjoy some of the church concerts that are held. The concerts mainly include classical music and can be found at the Santa Maria de’ Ricci, or the Chiesa di Dante.
